Cloudspace technology is increasingly becoming more available via tool such as Google apps, Facebook, Twitter, Twitpic, Ustream, Blogger, etc.
Design Media Creations Website is utilizing some of these tools as a way to make a presence on the Web, no programming was done to get the site up and running, used mashups concepts as much as possible, as well as twitterfeed, friendfeed.
All this technology maximises the integration of smartphones to make updates and monitor status. It is also by default WebTV ready as that technology mutures.
In certain cases cloudspace and mashup concepts can reduce or even eliminated the need of host providers and software development.

Social Media integration with TV
Currently when we watch tv its a passive experience, with the introduction of Hard disk PVR systems you can record shows by going through a TV schedule menu and you can set the PVR to record all shows you like automatically. Later you can watch shows at your own leisure.
Apple TV is trying to converge the Web and TV into a unique experience, you can watch youtube videos, listen to podcasts, radio stations and download TV shows and Films all whilst in your living room. Microsoft Media centre also allows a similar experience but via a PC or Xbox and purpose built Media centre devices. Another product is VuNow which again gives you WebTV experience for your living room.
Now if we add Social Media in to the mix and a TV revolution could be in the making, just imagine on the TV we can all communicate with our facebook friends, share each others photos, videos and live streaming from sites like ustream, twitter, as well as watch Hulu(only available in US) and watch regular TV programming with the ability to PVR. A product such as Boxee which is built ontop of Apple TV exists, is attempting to do this but no single product has come into the market place which unifies this whole experience and appeals to the masses.
With all this new technology coming into play all at the same time, there is tendency for information overload, and alot of configuring and setting up can deter many, what is needed to create a very simple User Interface, which has the power of all these new online tools without overwhelming the user. One example would be a WebTV Hardware Device based on Google Android as found on HTC Hero phone, and the remote control will be replaced, by an iPhone/Blackberry/Android Phone App which controls how you interect with the TV using Wifi.
Lets watch this space its early days.

Pushing the boundaries of innovation HTC Hero with Flash
In this ever changing smartphone industry it is key to stay ahead of the game.
Innovation is why Google Chrome browser, Safari, Opera and Firefox is taking away the marketshare of Internet Explorer, Innovation is why Facebook overtook Myspace as the lead Social Media platform, Innovation is why Twitter made Google and Facebook rethink strategies, Innovation is why Microsoft Bing is now being noticed and getting Googles heads turning, nobody can rest on thier laurels not even Blackberry or Apple with the iPhone, sure Blackberry has the big lead in email push undoubtly the best at present, sure iPhone is winning with its appstore and cool touchscreen UI integrated with iTunes.
Now HTC is coming up with a phone Hero based on Android with Adobe Flash with a real neat UI. The deal now is that Android using Adobe Flash will allow so many more apps to come in the market at a rapid pace, as there are so many Adobe Flash developers and content is king with the cool existing Flash apps in the market, Integrate that with Adobe AIR and you will give Apple iPhone and Blackberry stiff competition.
Apple iPhone needs Flash now and should take the lead, appstore will still be effective as they can use Flash content embedded, Apples concern is also battery life, but again innovation is key. Blackberry needs a phone based on the Android/Flash platform based on a neat UI similar to HTC Hero, with its winning email push technology and excellent build quality it will always be at the top of smartphones market, and easily enter the bigger notebook arena. Canada needs to lead innovation not follow.

iPhone 3GS sold more than 1 million units this weekend and Steve Jobs is back
This weekend more iPhone 3GS were sold in the weekend than last years weekend launch of the 3G. Also further good news is that the iconic head of Apple Steve Jobs is back after his illness.
“Customers are voting and the iPhone is winning. With over 50,000 applications available from Apple’s revolutionary App Store, iPhone momentum is stronger than ever.” Was quoted by Steve.
Palm Pre only sold less than 100,000 in the first weekend, and with more exciting apps coming from Apples appstore, the iPhone is becoming unstoppable and racing ahead.

Blackberry devices are robust and great for business use
Blackberry devices (Bold,New Curve) are built very well, silver trims, excellent push technology of email and a great successful Canadian product. What makes it the darling of professional users is its keyboard and that reason alone detracts some from moving to the iPhone, so a touchscreen feature combined with its keyboard (i.e. fusion of Storm and Bold) will keep many user from jumping ship. With the combination of Blackberry quality design build, its app store and more of a of move into cloud space technology (e.g. google apps) and Kindle style reader, it would be nice to see a thin notebook style device which also connects to a monitor. Apple and Blackberry are the two main players who are world renowned for the superior build and innovative style, no reason why Blackberry can move into Apple space as well.

Twitter scene on the iPhone gets even better with Tweetdeck
Tweetdeck the popular desktop application is now available on the iPhone, we have downloaded and tested its great and free and good competitior of Tweetie. Today with the release of the iPhone 3.0 OS, would be great now is if Apple launched a 'Macbook Pro Touch' based on the iPhone 3.0 OS. Look out for some great new apps using iPhone 3.0 OS from the appstore such as the ability to stream vital health information of a patient to your iPhone, TomTom GPS essentially eliminates the need to buy a standalone GPS device

Kindle Amazon's Reading device
The Kindle reading device is revolutionising the way we read books, great for students as no need to carry heavy books, also great for the environment as less paper will be used. There will be competition from devices using the free Andriod OS such as Acer notebook comping out soon,
and if Apple introduces a notebook using iPhone 3.0 OS that will be really exciting as these operating systems are also geared for touch screen and use less battery power from the devices. Microsoft is also launching Windows 7 for notebooks. Currently Kindle is not available in Canada.
